Habitat Omaha Homes

Habitat Omaha homes are mostly built with community volunteers under Habitat Omaha staff supervision.  Professional subcontractors complete the electrical, plumbing and heating/air conditioning systems. The average size of a Habitat Omaha house is around 1,300 square feet. Most homes have three to five bedrooms, depending on the size of the family. We complete both new construction homes and renovation of older homes. It  takes approximately 13 weeks after the foundation is poured for volunteers to complete an entire house.

Most of the new homes have an open living and dining room floor plan.

While most Habitat homes do not have garages, all of the homes have  off-street concrete parking pads.
