Homeownership Program
Habitat for Humanity of Omaha helps empower partner families as they work toward becoming first-time homeowners. Throughout the process partner families gain hands-on construction experience, attend home repair workshops and financial planning sessions and much more. Once the new home construction or existing home renovation is complete and the no-interest Habitat loan is issued, Habitat Omaha partner families are well on their way to becoming successful homeowners. It all starts with the one page Prequalification form. (Find out more about the Family Selection Process--including income guidelines and selection criteria.)

Roof and Repair Program
New to Habitat Omaha is the Roof and Repair program which focuses on maintaining homeownership by assisting low-income homeowners with home repairs. Like the homeownership program families, Roof and Repair participants put in Sweat Equity hours and are issued no-interest loans for the cost of the home repairs. The Roof and Repair program restores neighborhood pride by helping families to maintain the value of their homes. Take the first step toward home improvement by filling out the Roof & Repair application. Applicants do not need to be Habitat homeowners to qualify.
