Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Young Professionals
Omaha is fortunate to have an active and engaged population of young professionals. The Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Young Professionals group seeks to engage the diverse contributions of young, civic-minded Omahans to grow the work of the organization in the areas of fundraising, advocacy and volunteering. The Habitat YP group is a self-directed entity acting in support of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha's mission. Its three areas of focus include:
- Fundraising - To support Habitat's efforts in building affordable housing
- Advocacy - To educate decision makers and the general public on poverty housing issues
- Volunteering - To engage young professionals in Habitat's manifold volunteer opportunities
